4Ever Our Princess

Four years ago today, our lives changed forever. A princess named Charlotte came into the world and for that we are eternally grateful.

Charlotte, on her birth day.

Our princess on her first birthday.

Our princess on her second birthday.

Our princess on her third birthday.

And our princess this past Saturday at the Little Gym, celebrating her fourth birthday.
You have grown into an amazingly smart, beautiful and compassionate young lady, Charlotte. We are so proud to be your family.
HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY!
Love,
Mommy, Daddy, Claire, Trixie and Emmet

Who's Who?

Since I'm turning four in just a few days, Mommy has been getting very sentimen-
tal and showing me photos of me when I was a baby. She found one that she took when I four months old sitting in a booster seat, like the one she just took of Claire sitting in her new chair at four months old.

Can you tell the difference (aside from the fact that this photo appeared in the last post?!)

Then Mommy found photos of Claire and me sitting in the high chair when we were both four months old.

Princess Throne

If you know my little sis, you know that she loves to sit up. The problem is - she can't do it on her own, yet. She sure does try, but often times you'll hear my mommy yell, "Timber!" as Claire slouches over to the side.

To help her stay upright, we bought Princess Claire a new throne. It's a special throne - it's cushy for her tushy and it has toys that will keep her entertained.

At first Claire wasn't quite sure what to do with her new throne.

Once she discovered the toys, though...

...she was all smiles and decided that she loved sitting up like a princess!

Mommy even let me take a photo of Claire in the new Claire Chair. Not a bad shot, huh?!

4th of July

Happy Independence Day!

We don't have too many photos from our holiday weekend, but we did have a great time!

On Friday evening, we went with Nana to the 4th of July parade in Lititz. I was a little nervous about all the noise, and I REALLY didn't like the guy who walked around dressed up as a Rita's Water Ice, but other than that, I thought it was fun. We also discovered that Claire LOVES to ride in style in the Baby Bjorn :)

For all my Ashland peeps:

Nana and Mommy had a cow when they saw this parade entry. If you've ever been to the Ashland Labor Day parade, you'll know why...

We invited Nana, Joepa, Aunt Amy, Uncle Darin, Drew, Reed and Aunt Sammi to our house for a cook-out on Saturday. Mommy was too busy being hostess to take photos, but here's a shot of Daddy and me getting ready for our guests.
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend!!
