Minnesota - 27
Mommy was at the Delaware Home Show yesterday helping Jessi with her STUNNING photography booth. While I watched the game and had fun with Daddy all day, Mommy and Jessi talked to a lot of potential clients for Jessi's business.
Pop quiz: Who is that beautiful girl in the black skirt on the easel to the right?!
Inbetween schmoozing with visitors to the booth, Mommy and Jessi had to defend their Penn State pride to the crazy Buckeye pole-barn vendor across from them. It wasn't easy standing up for their team as they received text messages from Daddy updating the score of the game.
For a while it seemed like the crazy Buckeye vendor might have more ammunition as Minnesota kept the game close. Too close. Can I look, yet? My little heart can't take the stress of overtime games.
I finally had something to smile about when Kevin Kelly made the extra point to win the game in overtime. Mommy and Jessi cheered when they got the final score from Daddy, as did many people in nearby booths and passerbys after they heard the news.
Charlotte's Shout Outs - Week 6
1. DT Jay Alford - Daddy said you played like an animal yesterday. You stopped seven plays, four for losses, both career highs. Way to stuff those Gophers!
2. Tony Hunt - Once again, you got the job done. You rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns. It was your 4th 100 yard+ game this year. Would our running game even exist without you? Please don't EVER get hurt.
3. Morelli and Williams - You connected on a 56 yard bomb, which was the longest in both of your careers. Let's see that more often!
4. Poz - Another frequent Shout Out recipient. You recorded nine tackles (all solo), becoming just the third Penn State player to post 300 tackles in a career. Explain to me again why the Buckeyes were crying that you beat AJ Hawk for the Butkus award last year. Oh, that's right - because it hurts them to admit that you're the BEST LINEBACKER EVER!
5. The Penn State Football Team - You've had 3:30 games outside all season. Yesterday you had to wake up early and play at 11am in a dome against a bunch of silly Gophers. Whose bright idea was it to play football inside on fake grass? Isn't it hard for the gophers to dig their tunnels on astroturf?
Next week, Mommy and Daddy are leaving me with Nana and Gramma to take an RV with 6 good friends to the PSU - Michigan night game. Have a great time without me. Don't worry, I'm not at all upset about missing the White Out, the tailgating or the electric atmosphere of Beaver Stadium. I'm hoping Nana and Gramma spoil me so much I forget that I wasn't invited!

Charlotte - your mommy rocks! She was so proud of your beautiful picture and just gushed and gushed over you to everyone who would listen! Mommy did a great job at helping me find other beautiful blue eyed angels to photograph - but you'll always be my favorite! See you on Thursday!
