What can I say? I needed a fix. Maybe next time Mommy won't close me out of the bathroom.

Tissue Addict
I've told Mommy many times that it isn't a good idea to leave an addict alone, even if it's just to run to the bathroom.
What can I say? I needed a fix. Maybe next time Mommy won't close me out of the bathroom.

Junior Pinks Party
HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY, GENNA!
This weekend the Junior Pinks gathered to celebrate Genna's 2nd birthday. Mommy, Auntie Sherona and Auntie Sue call Genna, Riley, Grace, Erin and me the Junior Pink Ladies because we're just as cool as Rizzo and her gang, just a little bit younger.
Since we're all such busy girls, it's impossible to get the five of us in one photo - the one above was the best the grown-up Pink Ladies could do. This is Grace, Genna and I having fun in Genna's playroom.
Genna is such a big girl - she blew out the two candles all by herself!
Well, this is new. I'm accoustomed to smashing cake into my face at birthday parties, not cupcake cones. How should I approach this?
Let's start with a quick, dainty lick.
Heck with the dainty licks, I'm going to shove this lucsious dessert right into my mouth. This is the greatest dessert ever, Auntie Sue! You're a culinary genius!!
Knock, knock! Are you in there, Riley?
I didn't know that butterflies flew out of elephant trunks! Somebody hand me a bigger net!
OK, ladies. Sit back and relax. I will now play "Fur Charlotte Elise."
Watch out, Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Here come Erin and Charlotte!
Thank you so much for a super fun party, Genna. I had a wonderful time. We should get together alot more before your little brother shows up in June. We have to decide if he can join our group as a Junior T-Bird!
Happy Birthday, Genna!

Mini Me(gg)
For the longest time, nobody could figure out who I looked like - Mommy or Daddy. Compare these two photos and decide for yourself.
Mommy is sitting in her Mom Mom's telephone chair when she was two. My Nana now has that chair, so I can sit in it and talk on the phone just like Mommy did when she was little. I guess we now know where I get my phone obsession.
Don't worry, Daddy, I have plenty of you, too. I make look more like Mommy, but I have your brain - I am very particular about where things go, I LOVE to talk and I am very determined to figure out how things work!

My Aunt Amy Was Kung Fu Fighting
Congratulations to my awesome Aunt Amy - she just earned her 3rd Dan (degree) blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do! She is only the 2nd woman in her studio's 21 year history to be awarded this honor.
Basically this means that my Aunt Amy could break my mommy in half if she wanted to, so my mommy now has to be nice to Aunt Amy at all times. Mommy is just thankful that she didn't have all these black belts when they were growing up!
This is Aunt Amy being awarded her belt. I thought it was pretty stylish, so I decided to wear my own black belt today to honor Aunt Amy.
I have to admit, this black belt is pretty chic. But then I started to wonder - how else could Aunt Amy use her black belt? Here are some suggestions for my favorite aunt (no offense Aunt Sam, Aunt Janelle and Aunt Jill - Aunt Amy is the only one who could kick my butt, so I feel I have to say that, even though I love you all the same!)
They make great headbands.
They could also be used as a scarf, although they're not as warm as the scarves that Aunt Amy crochets.
They can be used to walk a pet around the house (it worked with Emmet, but it might not work with your crazy cats, Aunt Am).
You could even use them to jump rope - you need to keep in shape in order to beat up the bad guys!
I'm proud of you, Aunt Amy! I can't wait to start taking lessons from you so that I can kick Mommy's butt, too!

Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day!
This Valentine candy is for Daddy. Will you be mine?
Enjoy these photos from my 18 month/Valentine's Day photo shoot at Picture People a few weeks ago. This is one of the few times that the wonderful Jessica Barnak did not take my photos (she had a crazy holiday season and Mommy didn't want to bother her), but Mommy doesn't think they turned out too badly. What do you think? Am I ready for the cover of Vogue?
Pucker up, Mr. Bear!
I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille.
I'm not sure why I'm sitting on a box, but I'll smile anyway.
This is my pug (aka 'tongue always out') pose.
I'm only smiling because Mommy said we're going to Arby's for curly fries after the photo shoot!
This is my serious, Versace ad pose.
Besides Mommy and Daddy, here are my other two Valentines - Trixie and Emmet, looking snug as two pugs in a rug.
PS - Don't tell Trix that this shot exists. If any evidence gets out of her being lovey-dovey with Emmet, she'll be very upset!
UPDATE: Februray 15
Mommy just added some more photos of me playing in the snow yesterday in the "Let It Snow" post. Check them out!

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!
It didn't snow as much as they said it would, but I do have one thing to say:
I LOVE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mommy had to calm me down from the mini temper tantrum I threw when she told me I had to come inside. So what if I had icicles hanging from my nose and snow riding up my sleeves? There are snowmen to be built and snow angels to create!
This is my first actual step in snow. Mommy carried me outside and plopped me down right here. Let's see if I can figure out how to walk in these moon boots.
I made it from the back of the house to the front, so I must have this snow thing figured out. Look - I came all the way from the back!!
OK, maybe I don't have it completely figured out, yet. Hey, Mommy, how about you put down that camera and give me a hand? Now I know why that kid in "A Christmas Story" had such a hard time.
Maybe my snowsuit will offer me some good camouflage. Mommy can't see me and make me go inside if I stay right here.
Peek-a-boo!
A Valentine cupcake as my after snow playtime treat?! Wow! What a great day!
UPDATE: Wed, Feb 14
I'm so glad Mommy took me out to play yesterday - it looks like we're prisoners of the house today. After the three inches of snow we got yesterday, we got another few inches of snow overnight and now it is alternating between freezing rain and snow. Add to that some nasty wind, and it looks like I'll have to enjoy the snow from inside today. Even Emmet had to be forced outside to go potty, and he LOVES to be outside!
UPDATE #2 - Wednesday afternoon, Feb 14
The ice bullets finally stopped falling from the sky, and Daddy came home early from work! Mommy took me out to play in the snow, and this time there was a lot more of it.
Wow. There's a lot of snow to save.
Where do I start?

Will It Snow, Will It Snow, Will It Snow?
Have you been listening to the weather people? They are saying that we're supposed to get our first 'big' snowfall of the year tomorrow!
I am SO excited to play in my first real snow. Here's what I've been doing to pass the time until the snow comes...
1. Looking out the window - maybe if I wear my cute snowsuit the snow fairy will be motivated to give me some white stuff to play with
2. Playing with my new Valentine puppy, Pinky, compliments of my Gramma
3. Eating a banana - it doesn't take me long to eat one of these on my own, though, so maybe this isn't the best way to pass the time
4. Vacuuming while hoping that my other sock doesn't get sucked up by this cleaning monster
5. Taking video of myself and then watching how great I look on camera (until Mommy notices and then snatches the camera away!)
6. Stealing the digital camera after losing the video camera and taking photos of the contents on the floor of my playroom - looks like you've met your competition, Jessica Barnak!
7. Helping Mommy with the laundry - they are my sheets, after all
8. Double checking that my blankie is Snuggle fresh - or blowing my nose. You decide.
9. Looking out the window again, this time with Daddy and Emmet. Is it snowing, yet?
10. Getting dressed for the cold weather again, only to realize that we probably won't get any snow.
Mommy, I thought you said it snowed in Pennsylvania. Why couldn't we have moved to upstate New York? I could have made a lot of snowmen with 100 inches of snow!!
